turtle adventure parkon the 8th april 2015 me and my brother made an awesome pirate adventure park!!!For our pet turtle wool this adventure park was so awesome and this is why.It all started when we were going out to the temple.We walked and walked and walked until we stumbled upon a baby red eared slider turtle!It was very weird because it was slowly crawling across the concrete. so we decided to take it home.We lived in a giant building that was 24 STOREYS HIGH! About one week later we made this really amazing pirateadventure park.The turtle seemed very excited and as soon as we let him out of his enclosure he raced straight to the adventure park. and it was yet another great day in Taiwan with my pet turtle.
my pet Rhyssonotus nebulosus (Australian brown stag beetle)On the first of April my mum ordered me an amazing pet It was a beetle but no ordinary beetle it was an Australian brown stag beetle.There was a male and a female I named the beetle uppercut because its horns bent upwards.And the reason it even has horns is because they use them to fight. the males fight for who gets the female,and cool fact is that they can lift 850 times their own weight My pet Australian brown stag beetle uppercut was about 3 cm long and 2 cm wide.But sadly today it died But the females still alive so we are hoping to have some larvae of these beetles soon because the female and the male have already mated. so it was a very sad day but we are still very excited to see some baby Ryssonotus nebulosus.
taipei zoo on the 28 march me and my family went to taipei zoo at the zoo we got tom see the endangered giant panda this panda was about 3m high and 2m long.After a while we came across the african animals area the hippos,rhinos and elephants were huge and the lion looked very strong..For some reason it was really hot and we had to quickly move to a sheltered area. We decided to go back home but I asked to go see the amazing american bison so we quickly went to go see it it looked very dangerous. after the zoo I was so happy that I finally got to see an american bison.
taoyuan art parkOn the 25 april we went to the taoyuan art park with my friends from when I went to kindy firstly we went to this restaurant that you got to create your own lunch this restaurant was very cool.After that we went to the skating area I used my heelys to skate around the place one of my friends rode on a skateboard and my other friend was playing soccer and later that day we came across a very cool creature it was a snail but it was no ordinary snail it was a giant snail it was bigger than my hand we were to scared to pick it up but then there was a boy and he picked it up to show us what it was like, he seemed very interested by the snail and watch it for about 30 minutes.but we had to go back home because my mum had to put my baby sister to sleep and when we were coming back she vomited on my mum so we quickly went home to wash her it turned out to be a very great day and I was pretty happy to be able to play with my friends in taiwan.
window on china theme parkon the 7 may me my brother my mum and my auntie went to shiou ling gour.shiou ling gour is a place where you go around and you see mini versions of famous places.There are four countries taiwan,england,china and americawe went to see taiwan england and china but we didn't have enough time to see america. firstly we went to go see the rhinoceros beetle ecology land but it wasn't going to open until june so we only got to see a little bit of it. it was very interesting it showed a picture of my favourite type of rhinoceros beetle the megasoma elephas (elephant beetle).after that we went on the train and it took us to the other side of shiou ling gour.there was a long foot path leading to the inside of the Egyptian centre on that foot path I sure something that really freaked me out it was an asian gianthornet the biggest hornet species in the whole world it could measure a crazy 5 centimeters long.So I quickly ran past it then I spied something I thought I was never going to see in taiwan a wild Dorcus kyanrauensis a species of stag beetle luckily my mum had a container and we caught it.It was about 5cm long and his horns were about 2cm long.lastly we went to mini england and drove some bumper carts and went in a small boat.It was a very great day and I was so happy that I got to find a stag beetle.
my wild dorcus kyanrauensisOn the 7th of may my me my brother and my mum and auntie went to window of china theme park/shiou ling gour and we found a dorcus kyanrauensis stag beetle and we decided to take it home and keep it as a pet so when we got home we had to quickly put the beetle soil in the habitat and we had to put in some leaves and branches.when I had finished putting all the stuff in I had to put the beetle in it was the scariest part of making the habitat for the beetle because I had just been bitten by the beetle and it was quite painful.So I just tipped him in when I tipped him in he was very angry because I disturbed him well he was munching on a leaf but after a while he had calmed down. information about him species: dorcus kyanrauensis size: 6 cm age: about 2 months old food : beetle jelly he is a male the dorcus kyanrauensis was even bigger than the other stag beetle that I had and I was a lot more aggressive and because he is so aggressive I cant even hold him or help him out when he falls over.So I think I should name him thrasher because he is just so aggressive to me and will bite my finger when ever I put my hand in but thats probably the only bad things that does.this stag beetle isn't the only type of big stag beetle there are a lot of different types like the giraffe stag beetle and the palawan stag beetle which is very dangerous because its bite can snap a pencil. In my opinion my new stag beetle is better than the old ones that died and I am very happy to have yet another stag beetle.
my trip to baby bossOn tuesday the 26th me,my brother, my mum,my friend melody and melodys mum all went to baby boss.Baby boss is a place where you do jobs like adults for example you can be a builder and learn all the different thing you need to know about building and you will also earn baby bucks which you can use to buy real things with like pizza,seaweed,ice cream and all types of other stuff.So firstly me and my brother went to builder and melody went to nursery building was quite fun and I got to learn a lot of the different types of stuff they use like marble, concrete, and stone.And melody learnt about babies.And when we had finished doing our job we got 10 baby bucks and a card that proved that you finished the job.After that we went to do stuff like be an astronaut fly an airplane and hop in a fire engine.My trip to baby boss was so cool and my favorite parts were being in a space ship and learning about craters and moon rocks and also piloting an airplane and being the person who got to to speak on the microphone to tell everyone that we had finally land at baby boss.
Yehliu geopark on the 27th march me ,my mum,my brother,my auntie and my grandma all went to yehliu geopark.Yehliu geopark is a beach with heaps of weird rocks and one of the most famous the queens head.But we didn't go to look at the queens head rock we went to go find sea cockroaches and big crabs.Sea cockroaches are not cockroaches but they look a little bit like them.I managed to catch one in my shoe it was quite big and very shiny and I also caught a little hermit crab it was about the size of a small rock.After that we went to see some dolphins my little brother and my mum got to kiss the dolphins.one day I hope to come to yehliu geopark again
